Clampdown on Halloween egg stunts
Flour and eggs
People and property have been pelted with flour and eggs
The sale of flour and eggs to under-16s is being banned by many shops in the Hartcliffe area of Bristol in the run up to Halloween.

It follows youth gangs pelting people, cars and houses with the foodstuffs during the celebration last year.

A 14-year-old girl suffered eye damage when she was hit in the face by an egg during a Halloween stunt last year.

Police patrols are also being stepped up on what is considered to be one of the most lawless nights of the year.

Police community support officer Alison Orton said: "What I noticed most last year, the day after Halloween on the estates, was all the damage to houses and cars and the number of people out cleaning up the mess."
