A 14-year-old girl suffered eye damage when she was hit in the face by an egg during a Halloween night stunt. She was walking along Halfacre Lane in Bristol last Sunday evening when the egg was thrown from a passing car.
Police said the impact caused bruising to her eye socket and serious injury to her retina.
The teenager said there were about five men in the car, but could not describe them. The car is a red or burgundy Ford Escort with a black bumper.
The girl has since been treated at the Bristol Eye Hospital where the lasting damage to her eye is still being assessed.
Anyone with information about the incident, or who has been the victim of a similar stunt, is urged to contact the police.
