Waterfront becomes wartime dock
Bristol Industrial Museum
The 40s weekend includes chilldren's activities
Bristol's waterfront has been transformed into a wartime dockside as part a series of events commemorating life in the city during World War Two.

Vintage military vehicles have joined working steam trains at the city's Industrial Museum.

A play about food shortages in the 1940s and a wartime cookery talk on by food author Marguerite Patten are part of the weekend programme.

There are also jive dance classes and a "hangar dance" with a big band.
