Tall ships to grace city festival
The Kaskelot
The ships have appeared in several films
Two tall ships which will form the centrepiece of Bristol's harbour festival sail into the city on Friday.

The Kaskelot and Earl of Pembroke are due to moor alongside the Industrial Museum at about 1830 BST.

Crowds are expected to wave off the ships as they depart from Portishead Marina at 1600 BST and greet them on arrival in the city centre.

Both ships have appeared in TV shows and movies, including The Count of Monte Cristo and The Three Musketeers.

They will join the Matthew, the replica 15th Century sailing ship based in the city, as one of the main attractions at this year's event.

The festival takes place on Saturday and Sunday.

The tall ships can be seen making their way to Bristol city centre at: Station Road, Shirehampton (16.30 BST); Circular Road, Durdham Down (1700 BST); Clifton Suspension Bridge (17.45 BST); lock gates, Hotwells (1800 BST).
