Fuel shortages delay flights
Bristol Airport
The airport recently closed due to snow
Three flights into Bristol Airport were diverted or delayed on Thursday because of problems with fuel supplies.

Routine testing by BP, which supplies the airports in Bristol and Cardiff, found unusual levels of additives in the fuel.

BP says it is not dangerous, but has suspended its use.

Alternative supplies are being brought to the airport overnight, and flights should resume as normal by Friday.

The affected flights were two easyJet services: Edinburgh to Bristol and Newcastle to Bristol; and an Airmulti flight.
