Residents warned about flood risk
Floodwatch
The floodwatch alert remains in force in Berkshire.
A floodwatch alert remains in force for the River Lodden in Berkshire following the weekend downpours.

Some parts of the county have had as much rain in three days as they would normally have during the whole of November.

Floodwatch is the lowest category of warning issued by the Environment Agency.

It has urged householders in Swallowfield in Reading, Winnershe and Wargrave in Wokingham and residents in Basingstoke, Hampshire to be on their guard.

More than 50 mm of rain fell in Cowes on the Isle of Wight over the weekend, according to the Agency.

Earlier in the year, the River Thames in Berkshire and Oxfordshire suffered its worst floods since 1947, leaving many homes underwater and causing transport problems across the region.
