Flooding is causing transport chaos in Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

There are no trains running from Oxford to Didcot, Reading or Paddington on Monday because the tracks are under 12 inches of water.

Motorists in Oxford are also being warned to expect major disruption as many of the city's roads are badly flooded.

The River Thames has now stabilised, but it may be another 24 hours before water levels start to fall.

Services on First Great Western, Virgin and Thames Trains will all be affected and many trains are expected to be replaced by bus services.

Peter Collins from the Environment Agency said: "We've now got a problem with surface water coming from the fields and flooding the roads."

In Oxford, Botley Road and Abingdon Road are both flooded.
