Fire crews pump out flooded homes
The fire service in Bedfordshire have dealt with dozens of calls from householders worried about flooding.

A relay of crews had to pump out homes in Wood Lane and Bell Lane, in Cotton, that had been flooded due to the heavy rain overnight.

Calls also came from Sandy, Chicksands Great Barford, Potton, and Wilstead.

In Hertfordshire, more than 20 people had to leave their homes in Barley after flash floods on Thursday left about 10 properties flooded.
