England rugby player Mike Tindall's sentencing for drink-driving was adjourned because medical reports about his bruised liver were not ready. The 30-year-old Gloucester centre has admitted drink-driving on the M4 near Newbury, Berkshire, on 15 March. He appeared at Newbury Magistrates' Court on Friday but medical arguments about his injured liver, to help determine his sentence, were not ready. The case was adjourned until 5 December at Reading Magistrates' Court. The hearing will be a review, ahead of an intended sentencing hearing on 18 February 2009. At the time of the offence, Tindall was out of action with a bruised liver, which he suffered playing against Wales. He had been driving alone to Twickenham in a Range Rover Sport to commentate on England's Six Nations game against Ireland. It was the morning after a day spent at the races at Cheltenham with girlfriend Zara Phillips, the Queen's granddaughter. He failed a breath test and was subsequently arrested and charged.
