All homeowners in the East Midlands have had their electricity reconnected after gale force winds. Central Networks said power had been restored to properties in Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire, that had been struck in Thursday's storms.
The final 50 homes in Nottinghamshire were reconnected on Monday night. Only five factories, thought to have their own generators, were still cut off.
Central Networks has apologised to customers who were affected.
Spokeswoman Emily Highmore said: "As engineers had to make temporary repairs in some areas, some people might lose their power again for a short period in the coming week for a permanent repair to be made."
Jim Lightfoot, director of operations, added: "The severe gale force winds of Thursday were one of the worst storms to hit our region in recent years and that played absolute havoc with our equipment.
"We can only apologise to those customers who have been affected for such a long time but I can also assure them that we've been doing everything we can to get them back on and will continue to do so until the last fault is fixed and the last home is back on power."
