Jane Longhurst was last seen in Brighton on 14 March |
A reward has been offered for information about a schoolteacher who has been missing for four weeks.
Sussex Police pledged 5,000 as they made a renewed appeal to find Jane Longhurst, from Brighton, on Thursday.
Her boyfriend, mother and sister joined a news conference to appeal for help to find the 31-year-old who has not been seen since 14 March.
Since she went missing her bank account has not been touched and her mobile phone has been switched off.
No intention of leaving
Police now believe she has been killed and have turned their missing person's inquiry into a murder investigation called Operation Keen.
Detective Inspector Chris Standard, said: "We hope that by putting up this reward, we will prompt someone's memory and subsequently locate Jane - that is the main focus of our inquiry.
"The investigation has certainly confirmed Jane had no intention of leaving of her own choice.
"We think something serious has happened to Jane and that she has been killed. But, as yet, we have nothing to lead us to where she is or what has happened."
On Tuesday, officers searched areas of the Ashdown Forest and plan to scour other sites across East and West Sussex.
Originally from Reading, Miss Longhurst lived in Shaftesbury Road in Brighton with her partner Malcolm Sentance.
She worked at Uplands School in Brighton teaching children with special needs and played the viola for a local orchestra in Lewes.
She is described as stable, reliable and dependable.
