Town development plans exhibited
Doncaster
Doncaster residents can give their opinions on the plans
Residents in Doncaster can give their views on how the town will look over the next 15 years.

A public consultation about the borough's Unitary Development Plan (UDP) has been launched.

The UDP sets out how land will be used in Doncaster for purposes like housing, employment, and transport.

An exhibition will be based in the Frenchgate Centre until 17 March, before it moves to Thorne, and then Mexborough.

Councillor John Hoare said: "The first stage of the review is a wide-ranging public consultation programme on the key issues that need to be taken into account when drawing up the new plan.

"The review will involve making difficult choices about development and other use of land and will play a major role in shaping Doncaster's local environment."

"We are therefore very keen to hear from as many people as possible."

Views should be submitted to the council by 30 April.
