| Friday, 17 January, 2003, 08:32 GMT 'Stop the dealers' says Met ![]() The initiative also hopes to tackle drug related crime Londoners are being urged to "rid the streets of drug dealers" by shopping them to the Metropolitan Police. 'Stop the dealers, stop the crime' is the message from police who want communities to tackle the problem of drugs and related crime. The initiative asks the public to contact police or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 if they have any information about the misuse of drugs in London. Posters spelling out the impact that drug crimes, such as violence and robbery, have on the city will be appearing at train stations, on the underground and in car parks.
