| | Friday, 27 December, 2002, 11:49 GMT Cemetery clean up begins  Headstones were knocked over at the cemetery An operation to clean up a cemetery and crematorium damaged by vandals in Greater Manchester has started. About 50 headstones were damaged by vandals at Dukinfield Cemetery, Tameside on Monday. Flowers and vases were strewn over the grounds and the windows in the waiting room were smashed. Tameside Council officials said they were shocked and devastated by the attack.
