Legionnaires' patient leaves hospital
Forum 28 arts complex in Barrow
Forum 28 arts centre was the source of the outbreak
The final patient suffering from Legionnaires' Disease after an outbreak in Cumbria has left hospital.

Seven people died in Britain's biggest outbreak of the disease in Barrow.

Police are investigating the August outbreak which was traced to the town's Forum 28 arts complex.

Now health officials say the last patient has been discharged from Ulverston Hospital - four months after the bug was first spotted.

More than 140 people were infected, although the final tally could rise and will not be known for certain until early next year.

A 30-year-old air conditioning plant at Forum 28, opposite Barrow Town Hall, was identified as the source of the outbreak.
