School leavers hit hard by recession

The thousands of students who leave school at 16 could be the worst affected by the recession.

A new report from the Prince's Trust and Sheffield University suggests one in five of them could be on the dole by the time they are 21.

School leaver, Chelsea Stewart says it's "really, really scary, there's not a lot of options for young people."

However the Prince's Trust is hoping to help some of these young adults by teaching them new skills. Paul Brown from the charity says "it doesn't mean they need to give up hope."
