2009 will be a tough year for school and university leavers. Anyone entering full time work for the first time when they finish studying this summer is likely to find fewer job vacancies and lower salaries.
Banks will be hardest hit with 28% fewer jobs to be filled. The engineering sector seems to be bucking the trend, but there may not be enough qualified graduates to fill the positions on offer.
