Estelle Morris on jailing parents

Estelle Morris was education secretary when Patricia Amos became the first parent to be jailed for the persistent truancy of her children.

She spoke to Education Correspondent James Westhead about why New Labour felt the need to introduce tough measures to tackle school attendance and her mixed feelings about its success.
