Trains and ferries take ash strain

Thousands of stranded air passengers in the UK are rushing to use ferries and trains in an attempt to continue their travel plans.

Many have been trapped by the volcanic ash cloud coming from Iceland which closed UK airspace.

BBC correspondent Simon Jones describes the scene at Dover while Daniel Boettcher saw the queues at St Pancras Station.
