Cost of social care 'to rise' in future

The cost of social care for the elderly could be around £15bn a year by 2026.

The figures are from a new report by the King's Fund think-tank.

It says the most efficient form of funding would be a partnership between the government and the individual, where both contributed to the cost of care.
