Brown and Cameron clash over care for elderly plans

Gordon Brown has defended the government's plans to provide free personal care for the most vulnerable elderly people in England.

More than 70 councillors who lead social care provision across England have written to the Times describing the plan as ill-conceived.

During Prime Ministers Questions, the Conservative leader David Cameron questioned where the money to fund the idea would come from.
