George Osborne: 'We cannot go on with this model'

George Osborne, shadow chancellor has confirmed that a Conservative Government would take early action to deal with the budget deficit.

Asked about the speed and scale of cuts he said "the pace has to be determined in conjunction with the Bank of England because this is about trying to keep interest rates lower for longer".
