Jonathan Powell tells Iraq inquiry: 'no blood deal'

Tony Blair's ex-chief of staff Jonathan Powell has told the Iraq inquiry there was "no undertaking in blood" to go to war in March 2002.

He told the hearing, chaired by Sir John Chilcot, that the UK urged George Bush to take the UN route when he and the former prime minister met him in Crawford, Texas.
