King of spin Campbell sticks to his guns at Iraq inquiry

Appearing at the Chilcot Inquiry into the Iraq war on Tuesday, former No 10 spokesman Alastair Campbell stood by everything he and his master Tony Blair had said, and claimed Britain had nothing to be ashamed of in what had happened in Iraq.

But he admitted that Mr Blair had written privately to US President George W Bush to promise support if it came to war. David Grossman heard his evidence.
