Helicopter rescues woman from snow

An RAF helicopter has rescued a walker and her dog stranded in the snow in Wales.

The helicopter used an infra red camera to locate the woman near Tarren yr esgob in the Vale of Ewyas.

She had been lying in the snow for over two hours before the rescue team arrived on Monday night after injuring her leg.

She was taken to hospital as a precaution.
