Iraq War Inquiry: Sir John Sawers gives evidence

The head of MI6 and former foreign policy advisor to Tony Blair, Sir John Sawers has given evidence to the Iraq War Inquiry.

Sir John, who was also the UK special representative to Baghdad in 2003, told the inquiry that many options were thoroughly explored before direct military action in Iraq was considered.
