Shields campaigner: 'This is a fantastic day'

Liverpool fan Michael Shields has been pardoned by Justice Secretary Jack Straw after being detained for four years over an attack in Bulgaria.

Councillor Joe Anderson who had been helping with the campaign for his release spoke to BBC News as he accompanied him as he left a young offenders institution.

He described the recent events leading to Michael's pardon and gave details of personal call from Justice Secretary Jack Straw to his family.
