MacAskill defends Megrahi decision

Scotland's justice secretary has told the BBC that any discussions between the British and Libyan governments had nothing to do with his decision to release the Lockerbie bomber on health grounds.

Kenny MacAskill also defended the quality of the medical advice he received before letting Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi return home to Libya.
