Army head opens soldier recovery centre

The head of the British Army, General Sir Richard Dannatt has paid tribute to the work of the armed forces in Afghanistan at the opening of an Army recovery centre in Edinburgh.

He said the new facility, which is a partnership between the Ministry of Defence and veterans' charities, would be the first of several across the UK for those injured on duty who are not well enough to return to their unit straight away.
