Lord Mandelson - who remains in his post as business secretary - says Prime Minister Gordon Brown has restructured his new Cabinet around "policy priorities".
Speaking to the BBC's political editor, Nick Robinson about the reshuffle, Lord Mandelson said some good people had stepped down but many more were coming into government.
