Labour MP Malik defends expenses

Labour MP Shahid Malik has stepped down as justice minister pending an inquiry into claims about his expenses made in the Daily Telegraph.

In this full-length interview with the BBC's Carrie Gracie, before he stepped down, he said the house in his Dewsbury constituency was where he spent most of his time, so it was legitimate to claim for the second home in London.
