Livingstone: Quick's resignation 'too hasty'

Britain's most senior anti-terrorism officer has resigned over a blunder which led to a major counter terrorist operation being brought forward yesterday.

Former mayor of London, Ken Livingstone, told the BBC that while he believed the Assistant Commissioner Bob Quick had made a silly mistake, the resignation was too hasty and would benefit only terrorists.
