Come inside and join the fun | BBC News and Sport on Tour has been taking place at events around the UK this summer. We have been on the road with our interactive marquee to give you a behind-the-scenes look at BBC News, Sport and Weather. This is your chance to have a go at reading the news on television or radio in our special studios. You can also try at some of the technical roles involved in getting programmes on air and check out some of the interactive services the BBC has to offer. Top presenters Some of the BBC's top national and regional TV and radio presenters - such as Dermot Murnaghan, Jane Hill and John Inverdale and top sports personalities such as Steve Cram and Hazel Irvine - have been there to give you tips and advice.  | Learn from the best as BBC's top talent give their hints and tips

You could have a go at various roles, including: have a go at reading the news and sport on television or radio present a weather bulletin be a sound or vision mixer or operate a camera or autocue check out some of the latest interactive services and gadgetscreate a website story about yourselfhave a go at some sports commentary, with a BBC commentator to help you tell us about news stories you think we should cover take a tour of the BBC News, Sport, Weather and Newsround websitesmeet BBC staff and ask us questions about what we dofind out more about the BBC and its history  | It's tremendous fun, it demystifies the whole process and gives everyone the chance to see how news is broadcast | There were activities for all ages and it was free to take part. The BBC News and Sport on Tour marquee went to Nottingham (24-27 May), Whitehaven (15-17 June), Coventry (14-15 July), Bristol (27-29 July) and Swansea (15-17 August), and wrapped the summer up with a bonus event in Glasgow (22-23 September).
