Auction for Beckham party tickets
David Beckham
Beckham has visited an NSPCC project
David and Victoria Beckham are auctioning off a pair of tickets for their glittering World Cup party.

The celebrity couple will donate proceeds from the auction to children's charity the NSPCC.

Their Full Length and Fabulous Ball on 21 May will be a send-off for England's players before they go to Germany.

Pauline Brimhead, from the NSPCC, explained that the Beckhams were long-time supporters of the charity and had been to see specific projects.

Wonderful

She said: "David and Victoria Beckham have just been really wonderful to us for so many years now.

"They gave us the proceeds from their World Cup party last time."

She added that it was "amazing" that the couple had decided to help the charity again.

A plethora of stars will attend the event, with Robbie Williams due to perform.

Ms Brimhead added that it was not very difficult to persuade the Beckhams to auction the tickets.

She said: "They are very interested in our work. They are so very supportive and David has been to see one of our projects."
