| | Friday, 24 May, 2002, 13:49 GMT 14:49 UK In Pictures: Jubilee stage is set The preparations are well under way for the forthcoming concerts at Buckingham Palace to mark the Queen's Golden Jubilee. A host of stars from the entertainment world will be performing for the Queen - who this week was in Scotland continuing her Jubilee tour.  The giant stage will be the focal point for the concerts over the Bank Holiday weekend  The organisers wanted to minimise the impact on the palace grounds  The Green Room will allow performers to relax and enjoy the entertainment  There will be two concerts - one classical on Saturday 1 June and a pop concert on Monday 3 June  This will be the first time the palace grounds have been open for public concerts  A small team of workmen have been busy building a tented area  The Queen has been enjoying a warm welcome in Glasgow on her tour | |
