UK 'stifles' gaming indies

It's a tough game - rising development costs, large retail chains, and fluctuating currency markets are making it difficult for some firms to penetrate foreign video game markets.

Georg Larch, marketing director for German publisher Koch Media, outlines some of the difficulties they face in trying to get German games into British shops.

The firm showcased some of its new titles, including an action adventure title called Cursed Mountain, at the 2009 gamescom in Cologne.
