Sony has displayed a thin version of its PS3 gaming console at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany.
The media giant's computer entertainment chief executive Kaz Hirai revealed the device to an audience of industry analysts and gaming journalists.
He also announced that existing consoles would be reduced to the same price.
