Miles Davis is considered one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century and his name is synonymous with jazz music. For over five decades, until his death in 1991, Davis was at the forefront of the jazz movement.

But he was also a notoriously complex character whose uneven personal life included drug addiction and spousal abuse. Now his extraordinary career is documented in a new exhibit at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
