Shadow Business Secretary Ken Clarke and former Home Secretary Jacqui Smith on the Supreme Court ruling in favour of seven banks and a building society who were fighting attempts to force them to pay back billions of pounds in overdraft charges.
The ruling overturned earlier court decisions that allowed the Office of Fair Trading to investigate the fairness of charges for unauthorised overdrafts.
