A young member of the public will have a chance to go head-to-head with the politicians on a special edition of Question Time on Thursday 5 July. A young member of the public will join the Question Time panel |
The special youth programme is being made with the help of eight sixth form students who won this year's Schools Question Time challenge.
They will help select the panellist following auditions in the Question Time format, to be held the day before the programme.
The shortlist of five young people who will take part in the auditions will be announced here on Monday, following a public vote on the Question Time website.
Entry to the panel competition was open to anyone aged 16-22 who could apply by submitting a one minute video clip explaining why they should be given the chance.
The entries of the ten finallists can be viewed below.
