Aid minister Alan Duncan defends grants to India

International Development Minister Alan Duncan defended the UK's policy of supporting aid projects in India even though the country is negotiating a £6.3 billion deal to buy fighter jets from France.

But Emma Boon of the Taxpayers' Alliance argued that the aid budget should be frozen to save money.
