The Justice Secretary Ken Clarke has told Question Time that MPs' pensions are unsustainable and will have to be reformed in line with other public sector pensions.
Earlier, David Dimbleby questioned the shadow business secretary Chuka Umunna, a member of the GMB and Unite unions on his decision not to vote in the ballot for industrial action by public sector workers. Mr Umunna said he did not vote because MPs' pensions were not affected.
