Monday's Narnia of snowiness has now given way to a soggy mess, with MPs and journalists sloshing along the melting pavements on Westminster. Load of bankers On the subject of green shoots, we'll be looking ahead to next week's appearance of those who some might describe as the architects of our economic misery - they're also known as bankers - before a committee of MPs. Now that the government's sunk our savings with them, are Britain's banks on the road to recovery? But will that road be paved with big fat bonuses? I'll be talking live to the leader of the Liberal Democrats, Nick Clegg. The former Conservative party leader, Iain Duncan Smith, has spent the last 14 months conducting a far-reaching review into the causes of gang violence - and how to tackle them. It's an age old story� Mother heavy with child and there's no room at the inn. In Biblical Bethlehem, maybe - but in England in 2009? The government's poured millions into maternity services, but we've got exclusive figures showing that hundreds of expectant mums are still being turned away because the labour wards are full up. Although they do of course get diverted to other hospitals, rather than pointed in the direction of the nearest cattle sheds� I'll talk to the Health Minister, Ann Keen and the Shadow Health Secretary, Andrew Lansley. All on BBC One, midday, on Sunday. Snow or no snow, we'll be there - I hope you'll be there too.
