The Politics Show has an exclusive interview with Conservative Party leader, David Cameron.
He's teamed up with green campaign group, Friends of the Earth, to campaign for a new Climate Bill.
It's surely one of the most surprising alliances in British politics.
But they both want binding annual targets for reducing carbon emissions.
The Government is promising its own Bill, but insists that annual targets simply aren't practical.
Carbon emissions tend to increase when the economy expands - so could an economic boom lead to government ministers in court for failing to meet their emissions targets?
David Thompson investigates.

The Romanian question...
Hundreds of thousands of Polish workers have come to Britain since it joined the EU.
This week, the Home Secretary, John Reid, says he'll stop the same thing happening when Romania and Bulgaria become members in the New Year.
So, �1,000 on-the-spot fines are threatened for those caught working here illegally.
But how has the news gone down in Romania?
Do they feel insulted? Discriminated against?
Or will the penalties fail to make a jot of difference?
Paola Buonadonna has spent the week in the country. She's visited villages where children are looked after by grandparents while their mothers and fathers look for work abroad.
She's been on patrol with the border police and asks if EU tax money will find its way into the pockets of corrupt local politicians?
