| Euro visions ![]() Panorama: Euro visions was broadcast on Sunday, 8 June 2003 on BBC One. Europe was the issue that tore the Conservative Party apart. It is also causing trouble for the Labour Government. On Monday, June 9, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown will tell us if they think the time is right to enter the Euro. It could be the most important political decision they'll ever have to make. Gavin Esler chairs a panel of politicians, journalists and BBC correspondents to answer your questions. Is now the time? Have the 'five tests' been met? Is there a cost to staying out? Is this really an economic decision, a political or even an emotional one? And as Europe moves towards the creation of a new European Constitution, should we have the chance to vote on the final document in a national referendum? Is this the end of the nation state? Or part of the process of creating a larger, more efficient, European Union? Put your question to the panel by filling in the form below and clicking on the send button. Production team: |
