| Antony Worrall Thompson ![]() With regular television appearances under his belt, Antony Worrall Thompson is one of the best known chefs in the country. He studied catering and management at Westminster College before embarking on his culinary career in Essex. It wasn't until 1978 that AWT, as he is known, started to make waves in the culinary world when he joined Brinkley's Restaurant in the Fulham Road - rising from sous-chef to head chef in one month. Three years later he opened his first restaurant - M�nage a Trois - which was famous for only serving starters and puddings. Organic He has since been involved with some of the most well known restaurants in London, including 190 Queensgate, dell'Ugo, Zoe, Drones and The Atrium. These days, as well as his TV work and his column in the Sunday Express, AWT also runs just one restaurant - the Notting Grill in London. He now lives in Oxfordshire with his wife Jay and their two children where he can indulge in his passion for all things organic. Indeed he even grows his own organic vegetables and herbs for use in his Notting Hill eatery. |
