Here are the full results of the NOP poll commissioned by Panorama into attitudes towards Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles. The sample survey was 996 people.


1: Are you in favour of Charles and Camilla getting married, or opposed to the idea?

  • In favour: 42%
  • Against: 26%
  • Don't know: 33%

2: If they marry, should they be allowed to marry in church, or not?

  • Yes: 59%
  • No: 27%
  • Don't Know: 13%

3: At present Charles's wife would automatically become Queen when he becomes King, If they were to marry would you support or oppose Camilla becoming Queen?

  • Support: 30%
  • Oppose: 52%
  • Don't know: 18%

4: And if they were to marry, do you think Parliament should pass a law preventing Camilla from becoming Queen?

  • Yes: 40%
