The rules about paternity leave and pay, flexible working and the default retirement age have already changed this year. In October, new regulations will give agency workers the same basic rights as employees, once they have satisfied a 12 week qualifying period. A review of employment law is also being considered for redundancy consultation periods, tribunal discrimination awards, the protection of employees rights when business ownership changes and flexible working . How is the default retirement age being phased out? Do you want advice about flexible working? If you are an agency worker, how will your terms and conditions change in October? What rights do you have if your employer is reducing hours or making redundancies? Or perhaps you need help resolving a dispute? Paul Lewis was joined by: Andrew Cowler, rights advisor, ACAS Siân Keall, head of employment, Travers Smith Sarah Veale, head of equality and employment rights, TUC Presenter: Paul Lewis Producer: Diane Richardson
