Oscar winning film director Oliver Stone has just unveiled in Cannes his new movie sequel Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.

His films are fuelled by anger at US values, foreign policy and politics, and often generate much debate and controversy.

He tells Stephen Sackur how "envious" banks trying to replicate the exorbitant profits of hedge funds nearly brought the economy to its knees.
