At the recent Commonwealth meeting in Trinidad, Zeinab Badawi spoke to Pakistan's Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, about Pakistan's contribution to regional stability.

He told her that the American use of drones is a threat to Pakistan's sovereignty. He wants the US to transfer its drone technology to Pakistan so that they can combat the insurgent threat themselves and he also urged India to co-operate in this matter - saying that both countries have an interest in defeating terrorism.
